From This Sunday’s 8 & 10 a.m. Ministry Minute

“…We have lived in many places while I was in the Coast Guard. We have always sought out the Episcopal church to help us feel more like home. We have not been disappointed. Acceptance and tolerance of all is a gift that I have been given by God and reinforced by the Church.
There are many things I have been able to experience in life because of my faith. Our son married an Afgan girl. We were able to not only accept her and her family as an important part of our family, but truly feel a true kinship with them.
I find great joy in being able to serve not only God but this congregation as a lay assistant. I love to see the smiles on peoples’ faces when I encounter them both in church and in the community. I love being able to participate with you in church activities. This truly is home.”
