Doorstep Communion—Is It for You?

You’ve heard it said, “Life may be a race, but it’s not a sprint.” The same might be said of our experience during the pandemic. I would like to see you. So here’s an idea from another church that I loved: Doorstep communion. Because it’s COVID time, we would meet on your doorstep—have a nice little chat, check up on each other, and I would offer a brief communion on the special “communion paddle” so we could  maintain six-foot distance. Don’t bother to clean the house—no one’s coming in, it’s just 10 minutes to catch up, hear what’s up with you, and offer you a safe communion.
